Family promise held its 8th Annual Dinner on April 19, 2013. The evening was full of energy and optimism as we celebrated our guests, 4 extraordinary volunteers – Elaine Alvarado, Geri Beck, Kelly Latimer, Carol Stoughton, and the incredible efforts of Rev. Don Fado. (See video above shown at the dinner.)

We are in current negotiations for lease space adjacent to the Loaves and Fishes’ campus. In addition to the initial moving costs, we anticipate that our monthly rent will be approximately $2000.00 plus utilities. Simply stated Family Promise did not have the resources to absorb these new costs into our tight budget.

During our banquet, Don Fado invited the 260 Family Promise supporters attending the annual dinner to participate in a special offering to help Family Promise continue its ministry. His message was simple, “We are called to help those less fortunate than ourselves.”  As of Friday, May 3, we have received a total of $37,900.00 in cash or pledges of cash.
